God has called me to serve at the University of Texas at Austin, Hook ’Em!!

I was raised Catholic and “went through the motions” of practicing my faith all throughout my early life. However, into high school and college, I began to live a double life of separation from God’s bountiful love and mercy. On top of that, I had many people in my life who looked to me for guidance that I led completely down the wrong path.

Living this double life eventually brought me to rock bottom, and I felt the need to make a decision–I would either live out my Catholic faith as I knew I ought to, or I would give up altogether. Thank God I chose to pursue my faith, and it was around this time that I met a FOCUS missionary who invited me into his Bible Study and began discipling me. Through my relationship with him, I came to know Christ in prayer, the Sacraments, and genuine fellowship with other men. I fell deeply in love with Jesus Christ, and this love overflowed into my relationships with others. Through the grace of God and the intercession of His Blessed Mother, I began to right my past wrongs and lead some of my family and friends back to the Church and to God’s love.

These interactions motivated me to start leading a Bible Study and discipling other men, and I witnessed the beautiful conversion that can arise from sharing the love of Christ with fellow college students. I decided to become a full-time missionary after graduating, and I now have the joy and privilege of sharing the Gospel with college students every day.

There is an eternal war raging around us whether we realize it or not. Every moment of every day, the powers of Heaven and Hell fight for each soul on this Earth, and we must pick a side to fight for. My mission is to bring the love of Christ to college students, build them up in the Catholic faith, and send them out to reach the world.
