We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Thank you for entrusting your heart to me, to the mission, and to God!

I am a first-year missionary at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. My teammates are Ethan, Reina, and Ashley (pictured from left to right). BSU has an enrollment of around 9,500 students of which ~68% are commuters. There is even an MBTA commuter rail stop right on campus (right near the Catholic Center)! I am really excited to serve and reach a busy and dynamic population of students, especially since my fiancée graduated with her master’s degree in education from BSU. Go Bears!
I was raised Catholic and in a wonderful family. I thought I valued and loved God, but if you looked at different areas of my life, you wouldn’t have been able to tell.
In college at Norwich University, a great chaplain and other student leaders inspired me to grow deeper in my faith year over year, and I loved it. When I went to graduate school, however, I struggled in many aspects of life including my faith.
Thankfully, FOCUS missionaries were at Boston University, and they provided the virtuous friendship I needed to keep me going and reminded me to in those hard times to lean into my faith instead of fall away.
Ultimately, they showed me God’s deep love for each one of us, and they taught me the joy in loving Him back through daily study of His Word and prayer.
After deciding to master out of graduate school, I was very lost. When I opened myself up to God’s plan and asked for His guidance, He called me to serve Him as a FOCUS missionary just as I had been served!
I am so grateful for the opportunity to invest in students during the challenging college years and to reach those who have not yet learned how much Jesus Christ loves them.
There are so many great missions, but you have chosen to support FOCUS and college students. Your support and prayers make missionary work possible to help Christ’s love reach college students!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
