God has called me to serve at the University of Toledo! I’ll be joining my teammates Ben, Liv, Brady, and Anna as we walk alongside students and share the Gospel on campus. Go Rockets!

I’m incredibly grateful for the faith and witness of my family growing up. We went to Mass every Sunday, participated in faith formation and youth group at our parish, and prayed together often. Yet despite that strong foundation, I never fully understood what it meant to have a personal relationship with God until I left for college.

When I arrived for my freshman year of college, I was set on leaving all the “extra” Catholic things behind and only wanted to go to Mass on Sundays. I thought I had to focus on what seemed more important, getting good grades and having a high-paying job after graduation. However, after Mass on campus one day, a FOCUS missionary invited me to join a Bible study. Thanks to God’s grace in the moment, I was able to say yes.

That invitation became my first encounter with FOCUS and marked the beginning of a journey that would would transform my life over the next several years. Like the Prodigal Son, I slowly made my way back to the Father. I found that my worth was not determined by my grades, achievements, or future career, but by my identity as a beloved son of God. Through Bible studies, mission trips, and authentic friendships with men who desired a deeper relationship with God, I encountered His love and mercy in a profound way.

As I continued to grow and learn, I began accompanying other men in their faith journeys through the very same practices that had changed my own life. Sharing with others the same gifts I had received brought me great joy, and looking back, I can see that God was using those experiences to prepare my heart to serve as His missionary.

Now, I want to bring Jesus to college students so that they can have an authentic encounter with the Father’s love and experience the transformation that comes from a relationship with Him.
