My Story

I am very blessed to have grown up in a faithful Catholic household, one that supported and cultivated my faith ever since I was young. I met Christ at a young age and have continued to stoke the flames of my relationship with him since! As I entered college at Drake University and stepped into independence for the first time, I was determined to live a two fold lifestyle of participation in the Catholic center combined with the vices that worldly living had to offer outside of those walls. This attempt at finding happiness apart from God was not one that brought any fulfillment, and I was inspired to actively live my faith out more by a group of young men at the Catholic center who showed the radiant joy that a life fully in Christ could offer.

After making a commitment to pursue Christ deeper, the two fold lifestyle transformed into a two fold mission to live out personal holiness and make that life appealing for others! My subsequent college years were spent leading Bible studies, planning fun events on campus, and walking with others so that they could experience the joy of Christ that the world could not possibly fulfill.

As a FOCUS missionary, I cannot wait to walk with others and make straight the path of the Lord, just as St. John the Baptist did. The Lord has blessed me so much in my life, and he has called me to pass the great news of the gospel. I joyfully gave my yes, and now I get to share with students the same joy that I have received!!
