We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called us to serve college students at Northwest Missouri State University. You’ll typically find us hanging out at the Newman Center, or spending time with people around campus.
Our greatest desire as missionaries with FOCUS is to love the people we encounter well, the way Christ would. Finding out that we could have a personal relationship with Jesus in our early college years, and coming to accept Him into our hearts, then sharing that experience with each other, was a transformative time in our lives. Sarah and I each went to different colleges, but both of us had a deep encounter with the missionaries on our respective campuses. Through the friendship and witness of our missionaries, we were inspired to grow in relationship with the Lord, and eventually felt the calling to join FOCUS to go on full-time mission on campus!
Our mission is to love and serve college students, through friendship, invitation, and witnessing to a beautiful, God-centered marriage, so that Christ’s love can spread through their hearts into others’. The commission of Christ, to save souls, is fundamentally broad and specific, as it’s a message for the masses, but also for the individual. Jesus loves everyone, and He loves you.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you. “Some give by going, others go by giving.”

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
