My Story

The Lord is so good. My story changes each day as I come to know and grow closer to the heart of The Father. I am blessed to grow up in a Catholic family. Going to Catholic school and receiving a wonderful foundation to leave home and go to college. After some time in college at North Dakota State University, I knew there was something more. This led me to the quiet space at the Catholic Church right off campus where I began asking God what that ‘more’ really was. Each small yes led me to spend more time in silent prayer and frequenting the sacraments. I grew more attraction to the Christian life, and less drawn to live for the world. Over the next three years, the Lord steadily opened my heart in ways I never imagined, showing me His abundant love even in my stubbornness.

I first felt the call to mission while leading Bible studies and witnessing God move in others’ lives. It lit a fire in me to create, lead, and serve more deeply. Even as a student, I longed to do mission work all day, every day. I feel most alive when I’m walking with others in their faith and helping them grow closer to Jesus. The Lord showed me that what I loved doing as a student was already the heart of mission work. Being a full-time missionary, I trust God will use me to reach others just like He reached me. Now getting to return to my ‘Alma mater’ is especially humbling, and I am excited to see how the Lord uses it.
