Where I serve

Hello! My name is Veronica! I am a first year missionary serving part time at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point while finishing out my studies in early childhood and elementary education.

My Story

I grew up in Hortonville, Wisconsin and was blessed to be raised in a family who practices the Catholic faith. When I went off to college, I had a strong desire to continue pursuing my faith and find a community that would support me. FOCUS helped me to meet this desire by facilitating encounters with God in bible study and discipleship groups. Through great friendships and spiritual formation that came from these groups, I began to learn who Christ is, and the importance of living out my faith through prayer and the sacraments.

As a missionary, I have a desire to continue to be transformed by God through growing in prayer, frequenting the sacraments, and serving the students that the Lord will entrust to me. I want to remind students of the greatness for which God created them: Eternal life with the Father in Heaven who wants to shower His sons and daughters with the gift of His love.
