We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
The University of Texas!
I came into college completely consumed by baseball, and playing at Baylor only intensified that. I lived and died by my performance, letting results on the field shape my identity and affect every part of my life. I often felt alone in my thoughts, constantly comparing myself to others. After my second season-ending injury, I hit rock bottom. Losing what I believed was my identity two years in a row left me isolated and unsure how to move forward. During that time, a friend encouraged me to read Rome Sweet Home, which sparked a shift. I began seeking truth through books and slowly returning to faith. The turning point came when my missionary, Rory Mitchell, shared the Gospel with me. For the first time, I truly encountered Christ and understood what we are made for. Since then, I have been transformed. My friendships have grown deeper, I’ve developed a love for the sacraments, and I’ve found freedom in knowing my identity is in God. That freedom has brought real joy back into baseball. Through discipleship and leading Bible study, I’ve seen lives changed by the Gospel. This journey has produced incredible fruit and led me to pursue becoming a full-time missionary with FOCUS! There are so many college students hurting to hear the Gospel and I can’t wait to see lives changed through the power of the Holy Spirit!
“I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.” – John 15:5
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. The ability to share this mission with others has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of college students, please reach out to me and I’d be honored to share the ways you can support my work.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
