We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve at the University of Alabama in Birmingham! Go Blazers!
I am a cradle Catholic, born into a loving family that attended Mass every Sunday. However, when I was an early teenager, I began to drift from my faith under the weight of a post-Christian and hedonistic culture. When I was around 16, I wanted to break out of the bad habits I had developed, but I discovered I could not do it alone. I returned to the sacrament of Reconciliation and I began to take my faith more seriously. By the time I got to college at Auburn University, I was hungry to join a Catholic community and to receive more formation. The fall of my freshman year, I went on the Auburn Catholic Campus Ministry’s yearly retreat, and I encounter Our Lord’s perfect love in the Eucharist. My life was changed and filled with a profound sense of meaning that was lacking before. Shortly after that I entered FOCUS discipleship where my missionary walked with me throughout the rest of my time at Auburn. By the end of my Auburn tenure, I had become a leader in the community and secure in my identity as a beloved son of God.
When I accepted the invitation to become a FOCUS missionary, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of others. If you are interested in going on mission with me, please reach out at (256)-585-4138 or at [email protected]. I would love to talk to you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
