Where I serve

God has called me to serve the students at the University of Cincinnati, and I couldn’t be more excited! Go Bearcats!

My Story

I was blessed to be born and raised Catholic, but I always thought of the faith as a set of rules I had to follow. I never realized that a relationship with Jesus was not only possible, but it was necessary! After coming to college at Mizzou for my freshman year, I was bogged down by the ways of this world, and my life lacked fulfillment. I had stopped practicing my faith altogether at that point, but I knew I needed something more in my life. It wasn’t until I got involved with a FOCUS Bible Study that the tides began to turn. I attended this Bible Study regularly and eventually got invited by a missionary to go to Seek 2023, a conference run by FOCUS. After hearing amazing talks, seeing thousands of college students on fire for their faith, and participating in the sacraments, I gave my life completely to Christ.

When discerning what to do after college, I was encouraged by a missionary at Mizzou to apply to FOCUS. I had a great job offer lined up, but I wanted to be open to the Lord’s will, so I decided to interview. During this interview, I felt God calling me toward His mission to make disciples of all nations, and so here I am trying to answer that call! I’m so excited to share the joy, love, and mercy of Jesus with as many people as I can.
