We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewal of your minds, so that you will be able to discern the will of God and to know what is good and acceptable and perfect. –Romans 12:2
I will be serving at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette! I am so excited to be part of what God is already doing on campus.
Honestly, it is impossible to put into words the way the Lord pursued me. In the early stages of my time as a student at Texas A&M University, I had a deep longing to be seen, known, and loved. I began looking to fulfill that desire in all of the wrong places, and I found myself lost and broken. It was through being discipled by FOCUS missionaries that I began to understand what it really meant to be a disciple of Christ. My love for Him did not arrive all at once; it grew over time through the quiet moments where I felt Him meeting me exactly where I was. The more I knew Him, the more I wanted to know Him. That is still true today.
That growing love is what led me to accept the Lord’s call to become a FOCUS missionary. I don’t have it all figured out, but I have experienced something real. An intimate relationship with Christ that has changed my life. And I cannot imagine keeping that to myself. College students deserve to encounter the same Jesus I have been falling more in love with every day.
As a FOCUS missionary, I rely fully on the support of mission partners.
People like you make it possible for me to be on campus every single day, and together we can work to fulfill the Great Commission. Matthew 28:19-20
With your support, I get to:
Show up for students who are searching for something real
Walk with them as they encounter Jesus for the first time
Invest in young women who will carry their faith with them long after college
I was that student once. Longing for something I could not name. Your gift means I get to show up for students who feel the same way and introduce them to Jesus Christ.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
