Rec Retreat
Have you ever considered that you were made for recreation? Yes, through leisure and community but also by being “re-created.” Life can so easily become loud, chaotic, and fast-paced. Amidst this busy-ness, it’s important to re-build our lives on a true foundation. Come discover and form authentic friendship with others while learning about your God-given purpose and potential. This retreat is made for people of all levels of familiarity with Christianity.
Men's Retreat
What does it mean to be a man? Today’s world really struggles to answer this question leaving men confused or resigning themselves to false definitions. Come explore God’s plan for authentic masculinity. Be challenged and supported by a band of brothers. Learn what masculinity is through Church teaching and tradition, reflect on your experience of it, and discover how to live out your true identity as son of God.
Trinity Retreats
The Sanctifier
“The Spirit of the Lord always remembers every individual, and wishes, particularly through you young people, to ‘stir up the wind and fire’ of a new Pentecost in the world.” Pope Benedict XVI shared these words to encourage young people today to pursue a relationship with the Holy Spirit, the powerful yet somewhat mysterious Third Person of the Trinity.
Participants on this retreat will be introduced to the Holy Spirit through a variety of talks, Scripture passages, and prayer periods aimed at inviting this “New Pentecost” into our lives. If you are seeking a way to kindle (or rekindle) the “fire” of your spiritual life, let this retreat show you how to bring the flame of the Holy Spirit with you wherever you go.
The Father’s House
Since the beginning of time, God has always revealed Himself as a loving and merciful Father to His people, longing to heal their wounds and carry their burdens. However, original sin and our modern culture have warped our view of fatherhood to be one of control, fear, and distrust; and so many are living their lives separated from the care and help of God the Father.
The purpose of this retreat is to allow participants to enter into God’s Fatherhood in a new way and to experience His closeness and His healing mercy in their lives. Talk sessions, small groups, and prayer periods will prepare the way for participants to receive the Father’s blessing in their lives and to go forth from this retreat prepared to abide in the Father’s House in a new and lasting way.
The Way of the Disciple
Jesus’s last words on earth are a powerful directive: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (Mt. 28:19). No matter our upbringing, skill set, or personality, we are all called to make disciples. But to do that, we must fully enter into being disciples ourselves.
Whether you have been following Jesus and sharing Him with others for years, or you have a new desire to be on mission with Him to others, this retreat will allow you to deeply encounter the Person of Jesus and His mission for your life. This retreat will explore the heart of what it means to live as a disciple and how to invite others along with you on that journey. Come away for a weekend and be reminded of the Lord’s promise in the midst of His missionary invitation: “Behold, I am with you always, to the close of the age” (Mt. 28:20).
