History of FOCUS in Europe

In the fall of 2016, FOCUS launched its first ever international efforts by sending two teams of missionaries to Austria. In 2017, at the request of local bishops who were eager to utilize our model of evangelization, teams began serving in Southampton, England and Dublin, Ireland. Currently, there are 31 missionaries serving 8 universities across Austria, Germany, Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Our goal in sending FOCUS missionaries to these European campuses is to raise up disciples and missionaries who can, in turn, evangelize their peers. Inviting university-aged men and women deeper into their Catholic faith can spur a spiritual and cultural transformation not just in Europe, but all over the world.

Win

Building friendships that foster an encounter with Jesus, therefore drawing people into a covenantal relationship with God.

Build

Forming people to adopt the hearts and minds of joyful, disciplined, followers of Jesus.

Send

Inviting people to imitate Jesus and be spirit-filled evangelists by going on to have the hearts and minds of Christ.
