Where I serve

I served at the University of South Dakota for one year, and Wayne State College for the past three years. For my fifth year, I am working in a new mission field as a Digital Outreach missionary! I accompany students in the same way as prior years, just online. I’m thrilled to walk alongside young adults towards sainthood, especially when they aren’t sufficiently supported on campus!

In an increasingly distracted world, practicing our faith can be the first thing to fall off the to-do list. Without others encouraging us, we cannot become who we are made to be! I pray that digital mission will allow my students (and myself) to grow in faithfulness to Jesus and His Church, and desire relationship with Him above all else.

My Story

Claire As a college freshman studying in Paris, France, I experienced a deep restlessness and longing for meaning. After transferring to the University of Southern California, I met Brie, a FOCUS missionary on campus. She lived joyfully knowing she was truly loved by Jesus, and I needed that joy, too. I discovered His Heart for me through Brie’s friendship, the community at our Catholic Center, and encountering Jesus at SEEK, retreats, and Bible study. In 2019, I entered the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil Mass! Intimacy with Christ has transformed my life and given me so much purpose. He is the source of my joy, and I am zealous to share Him with the world.
